About Me

It was my love for reading that prompted me to start writing. Before long I was thinking of alternate realities to stories I'd read and loved or I would be somewhere random and a story idea would come to me. For most of my kid through teen years I was a spontaneous writer. I was always writing whatever was of interest to me no matter how silly or outrageous the story seemed. My stories were for me and I treasured them and they made me happy. I ended up with _a lot_ of short stories most of which I still have.

It wasn't until a few years ago that I decided to take myself seriously as a writer and try to become published. This picture filled blog is a record of that journey.

A Few Random Randomness About Me

1) I'm not fond of the term bookworm. I recently stumbled upon a video that mimics my thoughts on it exactly.

(I thought this would be better then posting an actual picture of what a book worm looks like or what they do to books. Yea, I don't want that anywhere near my blog. *shivers)

2) My all time favorite genre to read are phsyco thrillers. Besides that I read everything; fantasy, sci-fi, historical, literary, contemporary and just about everything else.

3) For some crazy reason I like to write 3 - 5 stories at once.

4) All of my stories lately have been very complicated plot wise ie very hard to structure.

5) I grew up with Harry Potter and have very fond memories of doing so.
